Cấu trúc câu hỏi đuôi với Need

“Câu hỏi đuôi ( tag question ) là ngữ pháp trọng tâm mà mỗi người học tiếng anh cần phải biết. Bên cạnh những ngữ pháp cơ bản của câu hỏi đuôi chúng ta còn cần lưu ý những trường hợp đặc biệt khác. 1. Cấu trúc

 

- Nếu need làm động từ thường thì sẽ mượn trợ động từ

Ví dụ: She needs to water the flowers in the morning, doesn’t she?

 

- Nếu need làm động từ khuyết thiếu thì sẽ dùng luôn need

Ví dụ: She needn’t do it,need she?

 

- Sử dụng trợ động từ giống như ở mệnh đề chính để làm phần đuôi câu hỏi.

- Nếu không có trợ động từ thì dùng do, does, did để thay thế.

- Nếu mệnh đề chính ở thể khẳng định thì phần đuôi ở thể phủ định và ngược lại.

 

Cấu trúc câu hỏi đuôi

 

- Thời của động từ ở đuôi phải theo thời của động từ ở mệnh đề chính.

- Chủ ngữ của mệnh đề chính và của phần đuôi là giống nhau.

- Đại từ ở phần đuôi luôn phải để ở dạng chủ ngữ.

- Phần đuôi nếu ở dạng phủ định thì thường được rút gọn (n’t). Nếu không rút gọn thì phải theo thứ tự: trợ động từ + S + not?

 

CHÚ Ý:

- Trong câu hỏi đuôi chúng ta luôn luôn dùng các đại từ chủ ngữ (I, he, it, they,..) để đặt câu hỏi

- Không dùng đại từ tân ngữ (me, you, him, her, them, us)

- Không dùng tên riêng (wasn’t Jack là sai)
